Through this collaborative effort, McHenry County will benefit from the preservation of open space, protection of natural lands, and the environmental education of its citizens.
OUR MISSION
The McHenry County Conservation District exists to preserve, restore, and manage natural areas and open spaces for their intrinsic value and for the benefits to present and future generations.
The Conservation District actively accepts donations to help us fulfill our mission and enhance the quality of life for all residents of McHenry County.
The McHenry County Conservation Foundation, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization actively supports the District and the positive impact of open space protection in the county.
